Veteran members of the CD Projekt Red, team behind The Witcher 3 have moved on to form a new studio, called Fool’s Theory.
With CD Projekt Red’s ex-senior quest designer Jakob Rokosz behind the helm, Fool’s Theory will be working with fellow Polish games company Imgn.Pro. The teams have previously worked on titles that include The Witcher, Kholat, Ancient Space and Hard West.
Quoted on Develop Online, Rokosz said that they have “started working on a game that will be a daring combination of some isometric genres.”
“I don’t want to reveal too much details at this point other than we’re developing the game on Unreal Engine 4. It was a natural choice for us, taking into consideration how experienced the team is in working with this tool. I can assure you that the game will break some proven schemes and we’ll be revealing more information about it very soon.”
A countdown timer is set on their website for 17 August, which will presumably release details about their latest project. New info will be reported as it comes.
