Sony announce their lineup for TGS 2018

Tokyo Game Show 2018

The official website for Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia’s Tokyo Game Show lineup is now live. The site contains a list of the games and a schedule of events that Sony will be hosting as part of their exhibition at the show.

In the lineup are two games that were previously unnanouned; Root Letter: Last Answer from Kadokawa Games, and Conception Plus: Ore no Kodomo wo Undekure! From Spike Chunsoft. While Conception Plus is only announced for Playstation 4, Root Letter has been announced for both Playstation 4 and Playstation Vita.

September 20th sees the elusive title Dreams shown first with a live demo from the creators. A PlayStation Network spot featuring a Girls Talk comes after that, followed by a feature on Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. The final spot for the day is a feature on the upcoming survival title Days Gone, which will cover the game’s vast open world and the way in which players will survive within it.

September 22nd will begin with an overview on the remake of Resident Evil 2, with an eSports feature on Fortnite coming up after that. Next there will be a feature on God Eater 3, the first numbered game in the series, with another eSports feature after that, this time featuring Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. The final spot of the day goes to Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, with an introduction on the latest title from From Software.

September 23rd is the final day of Sony’s exhibition begins with Project Judge, and a special demo, followed by gameplay of Warriors Orochi 4 with the voice actresses. Kingdom Hearts 3 will come next, with a big feature on the new worlds of Toy Story and Big Hero 6. The penultimate feature is gameplay of various upcoming titles with Shuhei Yoshida, and the final spot is with Hideo Kojima on his upcoming title Death Stranding. This spot will show off character and story details of the new game, some of which will be the first ever seen.

The Tokyo Game Show begins on September 20th and ends on September 23rd. Sony’s showcase of titles should prove to be one of the most anticipated of the entire show, particularly with Death Stranding rounding it off.
