Microsoft reveal Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition

Microsoft Revealed Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition and two new Xbox One S Bundles

The three new bundles Microsoft has revealed consist of one for the Xbox One X and two for the Xbox One S. The first is the Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition, a limited edition variant of the Xbox One X. The second is a bundle for the Xbox One S, a limited edition Minecraft variant, and the final bundle is a Shadow of War limited edition Xbox One S variant.

The Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition comes features the text, ‘Project Scorpio’, across the unit, and comes in a custom colour. Not only are the words etched onto the console, they’re on the controller supplied with the bundle as well, and finally the unit is packaged with a stand for the Xbox One X. Project Scorpio is the working title used for the Xbox One X until the official name was revealed, and is synonymous with the idea of a net generation Xbox console.

The Minecraft edition of the Xbox One S comes with a 1TB Xbox One S console, decorated to look like a grass block from the game. A code for Minecraft is also supplied with the bundle, as well as a customised controller, stylised after Creeper from Minecraft, as well as a stand that features Redstone decoration from the game. The console is also customised with unique system sounds from Minecraft.

Finally, the Shadow of War Xbox One S bundle comes with a white Xbox One S console and controller, in 500Gb or 1TB variants, and includes a copy of the game. While this edition is much less game-specific than the others it’s also the only one that comes with a plainer variant of the console. Instead an Xbox Game Pass subscription and 14 day trial for Xbox Live Gold are included.

Microsoft also announced a list of over 100 games that will be getting support for the Xbox One X on November 7th. The list includes titles such as Halo 5, Assassin’s Creed Origins, Dishonored 2, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, FIFA 18, and Star Wars Battlefront 2.
