PlayStation Store is Sony’s official digital online store for selling Playstation downloadable content, games, add-ons, movies, and TV programs. The content can be downloaded and played on Playstation consoles, including PS3, PS4, Vita, and PSP.
The store offers both free and paid content. More and more new releases, in addition to be offered on physical disc format, are also offered as digital downloads on PSN store. The store also offers digital remasters of older games on old formats, for example some old games on Playstation 2 platform can now be downloaded and played on PS4.

The PlayStation Store is updated once every week, on Tuesday in North America and South America, and on Wednesday in PAL regions.
