Evolution Studios Ltd. was a developer of video games based in Runcorn, Cheshire, United Kingdom. The company was founded in 1999 and specializes in developing racing driving games. One of the first projects of the studio was World Rally Championship game, for which Sony has acquired a license for its PlayStation 2. Sony, later acquired the whole company, Evolution Studios Ltd, together with its satellite Bigbig Studios, in 2007.

On March 22, 2016, Evolution Studios closed its operations. On April 11, 2016, the development team joined Codemasters.
