Top 10 weekly sales charts in Australia and New Zealand

The top 10 weekly sales charts for Australia and New Zealand have been revealed, showing the games that sold the best in both countries for the week ending December 10th.

In both Australia and New Zealand Call of Duty: WW2 was at the top of the best-selling games charts for both countries as well as the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One charts in both countries. On Nintendo Switch Super Mario Odyssey topped the charts in both countries.

In Australia on Xbox One and Playstation 4 the top of the charts look very similar, with Star Wars: Battlefront 2 in second place, Assassin’s Creed: Origins in third, and FIFA 18 in fourth. On Playstation 4 Gran Turismo Sport took fifth place and Need for Speed: Payback sixth, while on Xbox One Need for Speed: Payback is in fifth and Forza Motorsport 7 in sixth.

In New Zealand things look slightly different with Gran Turismo Sport in second place and Star Wars Battlefront 2 in third on Playstation 4. On Xbox One Star Wars: Battlefront 2 takes second place and Assassin’s Creed: Origins third.

On Nintendo Switch in Australia Mario Kart 8 took second place and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild third place. Mario and Rabbids: Kingdom Battle took fourth with Xenoblade Chronicles sitting in fifth place. In New Zealand the chart is much the same, expect Mario Kart 8 and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild are reversed, and Rayman Legends is in fourth.

In the best-selling games charts for both countries The Sims 4 is still holding on in the charts in ninth place in Australia and tenth on New Zealand. Also in New Zealand Doom is still around in eighth position, probably because the series recently celebrated its 21st anniversary, and Prey is in Ninth place.
