Kirby and The Forgotten Land

According to the latest GfK data, Kirby and the Forgotten Land have stayed at the top of the UK boxed charts for the second week in a row.

The latest Nintendo Switch title managed to stay at No.1 with its sales declining only 43% compared to the previous week. The game is already the fastest-selling entry in the franchise by a huge margin and is also the fourth best-selling Kirby game in the UK.

Coming second behind Kirby is Elden Ring which managed to rise a spot on the charts and come in at No.2. with a week-on-week sales drop of 22%. Pokemon Legends: Arceus came in at No.3 seeing a 9% drop in week-on-week sales.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands which was one of the last week’s new releases went from No.2 to No.4 seeing a 38% decline in sales, which is quite a good performance for a core game during its second week. It is worth noting that the large majority of Tiny Tina’s sales were digital downloads and that this chart doesn’t include digital sales.

Ghostwire Tokyo from Bethesda went from No.11 down to No.23 during its second week after a 70% sales drop.

Only a single new game managed to chart within the Top 40 this week. Paradox’s Crusader Kings 3: Console Edition made it at No.40 with 81% of the total sales accounted for by PlayStation 5 platform and the rest by Xbox sales.

Finally, GTA: The Trilogy went seven places up and managed to come at No.13.The sales for the game went up by 57% due to numerous price promotions and special offers. Football Manager 2022 re-entered the chart at No.15.
