It is a part of Columbus Nova investment group, which is the US affiliate of the Russian conglomerate Renova Group. Daybreak Game Company LLC was formerly known as Sony Online Entertainment LLC and changed its name to Daybreak Game Company LLC on February 3, 2015, after Columbus Nova has acquired Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) from its parent company, Sony. In December 2020, Daybreak Game Company was acquired by Enad Global 7
