Turtle Rock Studios is a video games developer in United States. The company was founded in 2002 by Michael Booth, Phil Robb, Chris Ashton. It was acquired by Valve Corporation in 2008, but later in 2009, the company went independent again. The developer is well known for such titles as Counter-Strike, Half-Life, Left 4 Dead, and Evolve.
