EA Sports’ Madden NFL 20 released and took the top of US physical games wholesale chart, the week ending on August 3, 2019. Nintendo’s Japanese strategy RPG, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, which was on top last week, got pushed down to the second position this week, still maintaining a high level of sales.
Activision’s Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled maintained the thrid position, with a very decent level of sales volumes, still continuing almost six weeks after its release date. Super Mario Maker 2 and Bethesda’s Wolfenstein: Youngblood continue keeping good sales levels, consequently taking the 4th and the 5th positions of the chart.
The rest of the chart looks similar to the previous weeks, with relatively old titles slightly exchanging positions. Grand Theft Auto 5 is the oldest in the top 10, celebrating its 6th year this September. Four out of ten of the US physical chart top games were published by Nintendo.
