Dark Souls II Scholar of the First Sin Edition Arrives April 2nd

Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First SinDark Souls II Scholar of the First Sin Edition arrives April 2nd on current gen and last gen consoles. Are you one of the millions of gaming masochists that simply love a good challenge? Are you a glutton for punishment? Well you should prepare to die again because From Software’s smash hit Dark Souls II is being published by Bandai Namco again on April 2nd to bring you Dark Souls II Scholar of the First Sin Edition on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, and PS4.

Dark Souls II Scholar of the First Sin Edition is the same game you know and love, but with a few new additions. One change is a graphical enhancement for the PS4 and Xbox One. As far as changes to the game across all platforms are concerned, Dark Souls II offers enough value to make even people like me who have beaten the game countless times on Xbox 360 feel the need to buy it again.

Dark Souls II Scholar of the First Sin Edition comes with the three DLCs The Crown of the Sunken King, The Crown of the Old Iron King, and The Crown of the Ivory King already included, which are regularly priced at $10.00 per DLC.

On top of that, From Software has also added additional NPC’s to enhance the story experience of the original standalone game which may or may not cross over into the aforementioned DLC.

Dark Souls II Scholar of the First Sin Edition will also allow more gamers to play together at once. The cooperative limit on Xbox 360 and PS3 used to be three players at once, with up to two invading players, which would be a multiplayer limit of five players in a world at one time. The numbers haven’t been dished out yet, but I think we can expect anywhere from six to eight players in a world at one time.

Dark Souls II Scholar of the First Sin Edition will be available for digital download and in stores on April 2nd, 2015.
